Changing lives through training
WAWCAS is very thankful for any economic support as this will allow us to continue supporting more women and more children living under poor conditions in Nepal.
Every year in excess of 900 women enter the WAWCAS Program. For less than DKK 2,600, one woman will go through the 16 months personal, social and business training containing 99 days of interaction with our competent and certified Local Program Leaders. And their children aged 8-14 years are invited to join one of the Child Groups supported by WAWCAS. Upon leaving the 16 months training program, the women have found personal resources to run a profitable, local business and all Women Groups are offered to enter the Local NGO supported by WAWCAS as well.
