Craft Sisters is a sponsor and actively involved in Wawcas as experts on the Craft project.
From the start, we have participated in forming the project, identifying the local possibilities of products, traditions within Craft making it possible and saleable designs in Denmark and on the local market.
Beside the products, we are working with the production process, i.e. planning of time, optimizing the local work, ordering commodities, quality assuring, education, organizing, time spent, wages etc.
We have an ongoing correspondence with Nepal and follow the project on a weekly basis.
We have been visiting Nepal the last two years and feel that we are a part of the organization. It is a major and exciting job. The first products have just arrived and is about to be sold in our shop. We have just started and have already come far. In the year to come we have a focus on sale, volume, sale to other customers, locale sale in Nepal and securing the further development of the products and production, so that the women start receiving orders.
(we can offer our qualifications within business, production, design, quality, processes and networking)
